SOCIAL ACTIVITIES AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
The Staff & Volunteers of MGW know that this can be a sensitive and overwhelming subject and want to make sure that we are available to listen and make suggestions were appropriate as needed.
The Staff & Volunteers of MGW consider themselves to be an ally to the LGBTQ community and will have mentors available who can speak directly to these issues.
Make a Girl a Woman provides opportunities for youth to develop and improve their leadership skills in a fun, interactive environment. These sessions seek to empower youth to become change-makers.
MGW is committed to growing our community outreach and advocacy programs by building committees that will service areas that need it the most.
MGW understands that we learn by example which is why the young ladies who participate with our program are encouraged to become mentors to those who enter the program after them.
YOUTH-LED DISCUSSIONS AND WORKSHOPS
Make a Girl a Woman is committed to becoming the go-to resource for young ladies excited about becoming amazing women. We support our mission by offering programs and services which foremost promote consumer choice, provide opportunities to enrich lives, promote independence and community integration.

MGW looks forward to becoming more than just a conference held once a year by offering ongoing treatment options, mentors and mentorship opportunities, information panels and events.
